Nous sommes ici!
We are here!
And where is here?
Here is Rabat, the french speaking capital of Morocco. As some of you know, a year ago we began our journey as a foreign service family with the Department of State. Today we have been living in Morocco for a week and a half.
And in honor of a new continent, I present to you a new blog. It's a place to share our adventures with family and friends that live far and wide, as well as chronicle the big and little memories we'll want for the future.
But what on earth is Westbound 20? Well, Joe and I both grew up off of Interstate 20, albeit 6 hours apart. Since we've been married we always take Westbound I-20 from the east coast to get home. Home, sweet Texas. We still technically could...if we flew into Atlanta.
My hope is to regularly post our goings-on, as well as what we are learning about our new place of residence. You know, like the guy who stands outside our wall coughing every night, or the acceptability of turning left from the far right lane. Should be fun!
A bientot!
